Well, it has been a WILD month since I’ve last posted. Since moving to tele therapy, things have been very different over here. But, one thing that has remained the same is my love of themed therapy. It’s been challenging via tele therapy, especially as I cannot screen share, but I’ve been making it work!

Something that has been helpful for keeping up with themes is using books! We’ve been reading Too Many Carrots by Katy Hudson. This is great for spring because it incorporates spring imagery without directly mentioning Easter, so you can use it all season. I made some materials to use with it and I thought I would share!

First, there’s the story map. This can be printed or you can pull the PDF up on your iPad or computer. It is NOT interactive, but it is a great visual to help kids with retelling and following along with the story. Click HERE to download it for free!

The next resource to go with this book is the question sheet. This part IS interactive (albeit extremely simple) if that is what you are looking for! I’ve just been pulling it up on my computer and reading the questions, but you can also have kids touch each answer and it will tell them “great job” for the correct answer and “try again” for the incorrect answer. So it’s up to you how you choose to use it! Click HERE to download it for free! This is my first digital interactive resource, so it is very simple, but I thought I’d put it out there in case it helps anyone!
I hope you’re all staying safe and healthy. We can make it through this!
